Adoption Trainings

Oregon Resource and Adoptive Family Training (RAFT), formerly known as Foundations Training

We offer three RAFT trainings per year for all families pursuing the adoption of a child or children from foster care. This training is offered in four mandatory in-person training days (9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) geared towards families seeking to adopt from foster care. Registration to attend the training is required.

If the dates below do not work for your schedule or are full, The Oregon Department of Human Servicesprovides RAFT trainings online through 12 live sessions or a self-paced course you can complete on your own timeline.
